ACWORTH, GA –– Kimberly Haase, a longtime Acworth resident, small business owner, and community leader, is officially launching her campaign for Acworth City Council. Election Day will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Haase’s campaign begins with two upcoming community events:

  • Bethel AME Church Annual Clean-Up – Saturday, August 23, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. in Downtown Acworth

  • Campaign Kickoff Celebration – Saturday, August 30, 4–7 p.m. at Classy Clay’s (Purchase tickets here)

“I’m running because I believe Acworth should continue to be a place where families don’t have to leave to find opportunity,” said Haase. “Our campaign is about accountability, collaboration, compassion, and service – and I’m asking neighbors to not only vote but to get involved in shaping Acworth’s future.”

Haase is the CEO of iLoveKare, a concierge service she founded in 2013 to support senior citizens and caregivers. She has served on local boards and committees including the Senior Citizen Council of Cobb County, Acworth’s Juneteenth Committee, and as a liaison to organizations such as Georgia Kids Belong. Haase is a 2024 Recipient of the Nikki T. Randall Servant Leader Award from the Georgia Women’s Legislative Caucus, and in 2023, she was recognized with the All In Cobb County Innovator Award for her contributions to the senior community.

Her leadership style is rooted in authenticity and accountability – values shaped by life experiences as a mother of three, a daughter of the Great Migration, and a dedicated community servant. “From my great-grandfather who worked sanitation jobs in Missouri to my grandmother who built a middle-class life in Michigan, my family taught me the value of hard work and creating opportunities for others,” Haase said. “I carry that legacy forward in Acworth.”

Haase’s platform focuses on bridging the digital divide, fostering inclusivity, supporting local businesses, and expanding access to education and economic opportunity—all while keeping Acworth a safe and welcoming place to live, work, and rest.

“Our campaign isn’t just about me,” Haase added. “It’s about us – neighbors working together to keep Acworth on track. I want residents to hold me accountable, volunteer with our campaign, and most importantly, make a plan to vote.”
